My kodi OSMC build has had years of service and has amassed quite a detailed record of my Top100 songs, albums, Newly Added, Latest Played etc.
the video library, I’m pretty confident will back up ok (always has in the past when I’ve attempted this),
but I’ve noticed on the KODI wiki page, backing up and porting library over major Kodi revisions is not ideal (better over .point releases)
So anyway, re-instating my video library… I’m not tooooo worried if I need to do this from scratch but, music library as it stands is really good for me and I wouldn’t want to lose those key records.
-since I’m upping from 18 to 20 here, major releases, are there any recommended methods for this time-leap?
—-I checked in the Supplementary Tools section on the forum but can’t find anything’s suitable for my situation.
Any thoughts guys, any modern/recommended major release methods , or should I just take my chances?
