First of all many thanks for this impressive piece of software !
I like the flexibility of the xml files and the built in drive mappings.
I have setup XBMC on a usb hard disk and started tinkering with the library.
I am familiar with 'set content' and related options.
I use the master profile ("T:" drive) and all my movie sources use "Q:\..\..\movies" drive. My movies live 2 levels above xbmc. Scan to library works fine.
--
Problem:
Whenever I plugin my usb hard drive and the drive letter changes, my video / music library appears empty and I need to re-scan from scratch. Importing a previously exported library does not remedy the situation.
I could not detect a drive letter mapping anywhere in the xml files related to the library. I have double checked that all my drive letters in the .xml files use either "T:" or "Q:" (profile.xml and sources.xml).
Any feedback much appreciated.
Cheers,
