Library empty when drive letter changes (xbmc on usb drive)

First of all many thanks for this impressive piece of software !

I like the flexibility of the xml files and the built in drive mappings.
I have setup XBMC on a usb hard disk and started tinkering with the library.
I am familiar with 'set content' and related options.
I use the master profile ("T:" drive) and all my movie sources use "Q:\..\..\movies" drive. My movies live 2 levels above xbmc. Scan to library works fine.

Problem:
Whenever I plugin my usb hard drive and the drive letter changes, my video / music library appears empty and I need to re-scan from scratch. Importing a previously exported library does not remedy the situation.

I could not detect a drive letter mapping anywhere in the xml files related to the library. I have double checked that all my drive letters in the .xml files use either "T:" or "Q:" (profile.xml and sources.xml).

Any feedback much appreciated.

Cheers,
c0

In addition a tip:

For scraping movies and having your IMDB text and images saved as individual files next to your movies:

XBMC Movie Companion

Delete XBMC/userdata/database/myvideos##.db to empty the database.
Delete all the folders inside XBMC/userdata/database/Thumbnails/* to empty IMDB thumbnails and fanart when ready.
Scan your movies again when you have scraped them using XBMC Movie Companion. It should go real quick without falling back on an internet connection.

And another one:

If you have a non-universal non-RCA5/6 remote control that acts as a USB HID keyboard/mouse
(like this radio control + trackball one: http://www.x-media.co.uk/Products/Tracki...fault.aspx)
you may use this utility to remap the hard coded key combinations to something you can trap with XBMC, as XBMC does not do scancode assignment (yet).
