Bug (possible): no sound when playing video files on usb disk
#1
I am not sure it's a bug or not and don't know why it happened.

The usb disk is about 40GB size with two partitions on it. One was formatted as ntfs and the other was as ext3. XBMC has no problem of mounting them. The problem is when I try to play any video files on the usb disk there is no audio and also the system sound will be gone, i.e. it will be total silent until you reboot the machine.

However the video files shared through network (XBMSP) will work perfectly fine. I am sure that's not the case that the video files on the usb disk got corrupted, since they got copied from the server running XBMSP and XBMC were previously happy with those files.
