I share a folder with media in it on my laptop. The laptop is connected to my network via a wireless connection to my wireless D-link router. My xbox is connected to my network via a physical 50 foot ethernet cable to my D-Link router. I am able to browse and see my shared folders on my laptop.
The problem is:
The video streams great over my network (the ones i'm sharing via my laptop), except it always closes and stops the video whenever my screensaver on my laptop comes on. Turning my screensaver off is not a solution for me. Its very annoying since the screensaver kicks in in 5 minutes into the video I was trying to watch in another room.
Anyone know how to fix this issue? I have the latest tech build before the atlantis version. I had the issue on an older version of xbmc (maybe by a few months older version) and upgraded to this version and it still happens. Perhaps I can adjust some setting in my home network?
