I'm new to Mediastream so im trying to get started...
All my videos (tv-series, movies in dvd, musicvids) are in rar, and the skin doesn't seem to understand this. I might be doing something wrong.
Would love a guide or newbie how-to.
Thanks for a great skin!

The skin only controls what the user interface looks like, you need help in setting up XBMC itself. Check out the XBMC wiki (xbmc.org/wiki) or post in the XBMC support forums

Thanks, I was wondering where that option was.

Looks like your MediaStream\language\English\strings.xml file isn't up to date?

There we go, I was just reusing the strings file from .93 because I made changes to it. Thanks, I was wondering why that was the only thing I had problems with.

Have a couple questions here. Let me start by saying that I'm using the T3CH XBMC 2008-10-06 SVN rev15805-BETA2 build. I pulled down v0.94 of Mediastream from the Team Razorfish site and it appears that I'm experiencing memory issues. I want to use the lite version but my apparent noobness is keeping me from obtaining it. There are no links in the Team Razorfish site linking to the lite version. Can someone please tell me if the t3ch compile has the lite?

It's built in to the same release. Go to Settings>Appearance>Look and Feel. There you'll find the "Skin Theme" option.

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but in 0.94, which I pause a video, and then flip back to the navigation interface (using the "teletext" button, not sure what this feature is properly called) the progress bar remains visible while the rest of the on-screen info popup disappears. It looks irregular.
Another point, though I suspect this isn't skin-related: in TV shows, in Seasons view, when I set it Descending sort order (I like the newest seasons to be at the top) it only takes effect in some shows, but not in others. Also, the view order is never saved - I have to reset it each time I load XBMC. Is that skin- or system-related?
I'm using 4:3, full skin, on Linux, if that matters.
