please help, i use straming alot and it just wont work in any of the versions after feb04, i havent changed the dashboard/settings just installed the new version of xbmc, i have even replaced the origional files on e: to try and fix it.

xbmc works fine for weather and straming movies/music from my pc

i have tried using the dashboard setted ip.... address and configred manually. when i select a stream file it says connecting and locks up the box !!!

next time when saying something is not working give us the last piece of your xbmc.log file with the xbmc version you are using.
for now the log file + xbmc version would be nice to know

in your xbmc diretory (like e:\apps\xbmc\xbmc.log)

the settings in the .xml are set to read from the dash which is evox

just set the nameserver to the ip address of your router and you should be fine.

either your nameserver tag in xboxmediacenter.xml should be

<nameserver>-</nameserver>

or

<nameserver>192.168.1.1</nameserver>

where 192.168.1.1 is the ip address of your router.
