tvshow scrapers skip 1 tvshow

hi,
i got a show called battlestar galactica,
all other shows go perfect
but this one is a problem....

it just does not show up in the library,
it has the same filenames as other shows,
Battlestar Galactica
- Battlestar Galactica S04E01 episodename.avi

other shows handle this very well...
but i believe this one does not because there are 2 .avi files
in the same folder without an episode numbers, (they were specials)
i can see on the tvdb.com that they are there too, but without an episode number.

is it possible that those 2, have fucked up the scraping procedure?
its the only thing i can think of.

go see what happens on thetvdb.com when you search for 'battlestar galactica'. you match the 1978 show, not the 2003 one. since you probably have hide empty shows enabled, it will be hidden since it has no episodes... atleast that's what i'd suspect is going on

thanks for the idea
and i guess you were right,

i did see the show, it just had no items in it...

but now that i changed the title to battlestar galactica 2003
it found it immediatly and did everything the way it should be

thanks

have you tried renaming the parent folder "Battlestar Galactica (2003)"? That helps me a lot when IMDB has different movies with the same name

yes, that is exactly what i did... as i told in the post right above you Tongue

it works perfectly now, just rename the folder to 2003 and it picks the right version from the scraper.

thanks for the input though...

with movies i have the same issues, but there i dont rename the file or folder
i just pick the right one from the list when i refresh the content of 1 movie. that list shows all the possible ones
i find that a lot faster than renaming the whole folder again....

You can code the specials as S00
