I have somewhat stupid question:
Would it be possible to start an external full-screen applications from XBMC but still have ability for XBMC to render UI elements on top of it?
For example - run MyTheatre, ZoomPlayer, VLC etc. but have ability to control it by using XBMC python script running on the background that can draw some buttons, lists etc.
Examples that I found so far assume that XBMC will be minimized/hidden and give control to the external app - I am wondering if it is possible for XBMC to just become "transparent" except for some specific elements.
