I just installed XBMC on Ubuntu 8.04 (gnome) and my mouse doesn't work within the XBMC window, whenever I move the cursor in there it gets "stuck" immediately. I have disabled Compiz. I can navigate through the menus using my keyboard only.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Where do you 'activate the mouse'? I don't see any mouse settings. Why would such a slick looking program come with the mouse deactivated!?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Is this something to do with my xorg settings?
