shokka9 Wrote:Hi peeps...Dam is it down still i may have to find another host site preferably free can't afford to use pay sites as i am out of work at the moment. will see what i can find....And if you like the old stark just wait till you see the changes in Auriga the new view are great
just joined, but been on this stuff for years...my reason for joining & posting is that the mediafire link is down...
I can (eventually) get into mediafire, but when i try to download it wont let me.
I managed to download it the first time, but when i extract it, the file is broken...not sure how much i have lost.
is there any chance of this being upped to another host (Not Rapidshare tho ).
Good work Paul, been reading this thread since the creation of Aeon Stark. Was using old Aeon with no issues..
currently using the Stark Lite for xbox mod and it works superb. eager to try this Auriga verison tho also..
Keep it up folks!!
dynamix Wrote:Paul, i guess you use the 960x540 backdrop pack posted by Bram, am i correct? To be honest if i select a folder of backdrops for each menu item it makes things worse i lose around another 4 - 5 mb ram not acceptable in my view so i am sticking with the defaults for now as this version seems even more hungrey for memory though i have got it working better than the last revision. and i am almost ready to upload it god knows where at this time but i will find a solution to it. will keep ya all posted
That pack has custom backdrops for the most common used mainmenu items, that's why you don't notice any lag. Turn on a menu item that has the default backdrop setup and you will see what some of the users mean with the lag.
So the solution is to only use custom backdrops and no defaults. Though i don't understand why this lag is noticed in the Auriga Lite version and doesn't with the Stark Lite version...
