XP wont let MCE work
#1
I had an asus my-cinema that came with an MCE remote. After digging around for the drivers I was able to get it to work. (Since I’m only running xp none mce) however I had to return that one and picked up a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1600. And to replace the remote I got Anyware GP-IR01BK. When I try installing the drivers for this it says that the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software. I have looked every ware and cant figure out how to fix this and I have heard and done myself this before. and aprently another poster had this problem but the link to the instuction on how to fix it dont work.
