Also I have the Notification turned on and I don't see any message in XBMC that anything is being updated. When I manually click the XBMC button...I see the XBMC Library Update scanning message.
I guess I could move my EMM to the same system I have XBMC and test. But I'm obvioulsy connected to XBMC since my manual Library Update is working.
And what's the differnce than before with using the manual update than the real time sync. Is EMM basically doing a Library Update automatically after every movie edit now if real time sync is turned on.
- You still have to use the library update on the top-right corner for new movies. As it is written on the wiki.
- Real-time sync is only dealing with changes you do in Ember. If you modify any data or image of a movie, Ember will update XBMC. It's not done by directly writing into the database but via XBMC's HTTP API as well. I mean different API commands are used to accomplish this, not the normal library update one.
