How do you update to the new version of emm for ubuntu?

I submitted a feature request for a "play in external player" option yesterday, but when I went to the "issues" page on the website today, my request is not listed. Did i do something wrong?

Tell me please, when will work normally Scraper from XBMC. When they try to gather information, the program did not even send requests, but if everything is ok to use the built-in. In what may be the reason. Scraper from XBMC tried both with the old SVN and the new.

So since using Ember I managed to get some good results. Then I ran an update. It updated. Since then it finds the main poster but when it brings up the fanart, whether I selecte original, medium or small, the OK button is greyed out. Also on XBMC library mode is greyed out and I can no longer switch to library mode.

Have you setup XML scraper correctly?
What scraper do you use?

I did the same thing and got XBMC to "see" the link to the YouTube trailer in the NFO - or at least I think I did, because the little film cell icon shows up now by where the media tags etc. are. However, when I click it, it just says "working" for a second and does nothing. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
This happens for every movie so it's not like it' just dead link.

Hi.
After scraping fanart for a movie I am able to select more than one of the found files as fanart by the checkboxes in the selection dialog.
These files will be saved in the movie directory and additionally in the backdrop-directory I entered in the settings.

Is there a possibility to do the same with TV-Series Fanart? Meaning: I selected 1 of the scraped fanart as THE backdrop-fanart for the series, but check some more backdrops to be downloaded into the backdrop-directory provided in the settings?

What's the link? I believe it needs to be a link *directly* to the media stream.

Have you try let ember update itself?

And yes, you can run on a VM!

Scraper installed according to WIKI. He took them out as the old version of XBMC and a new that uses addons. In both cases, no calls on the network when trying to request information.

From my experience it works (even if I download myself HD trailers that I save for offline usage),

I've just tried with a 30xxx SVN and the latest ember and as said by kraqh3d if you point to the direct link,

e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F20ovcLI29s for the movie Green Zone

That works...
