[WINDOWS] OpenGL driver for Windows 7 on old Mac Mini?
#1
Hello,

I just set up my new Mac Mini, previous version, with Boot Camp and Windows 7 on it. I set up a version of XBMC on OS X and it works fine. I tried to do the same on the Window7 partition, however, it said something about the OpenGL driver error. Anyone have the same problem? Where can I find the latest OpenGL driver for Mac Mini with Window 7? Thank you very much.

Hi,

I didn't have the latest Mac Mini. I got this.

Mac mini 1.83 MB138LL/A

* Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 1.83GHz
* 1GB DDR2-667 RAM
* 80GB 5,400RPM SATA Hard Drive
* Combo DVD-ROM/CD-RW Drive
* Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
* 10/100/1000 Network
* AirPort Extreme 802.11g Wireless Network
* Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard
* Display Not Included

Will the nvidia driver work for this?

Question
I have a Mac Mini with Intel chipset. I loaded up Windows 7 with Boot Camp. However, when I try to run XBMC, it gave me a fatal error about OpenGL. What should I check to fix this issue? Did I have to wrong OpenGL driver? Please help. Thanks.

You need Intel GMA 950 (Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950) device drivers Windows 7 that supports at least OpenGL 1.3

Windows Vista device drivers might work too in Windows 7, try Intel's website, or Mac forums, or search using google Nod

I have the same issue, none of the drivers I've found or others have suggested have worked. Have you gotten it working? I have the same mac mini but I upgraded the HDD and Ram.

Still dead in the water.... I just use XBMC on the Mac partition for now. Really wish to have the right driver to run. I will let you know if I got it working. Will you let me know if you got it work before me? Thanks.
