I use windows 7 and the newest XBMC for windows. But i've got an audio issue, My soundcard is Realtek HD audio with the latest drivers.
Settings are : Digital , HD Audio driver and Downmix to stero is off.
The problem is that not all files are playing well. If I rip from DVD all is ok, I can see on my receiver if it is DTS or Dolby 5.1 and so on. But if i play for example an apple movie trailer with 5.1 sound my reciever says it is PCM 2.0 and the same with some HD Movies.
What can I do to play those files with correct audio stream ?
BTW what is downmix function for ? only if you have two speakers ?
