I have this issue where XBMC is reporting a mkv file burnt to DVD-R discs as being way smaller than what it is, and not playing the movie on the disc.

First: the specifics

Mythbuntu 8.10
Linux 2.6.27-14-generic #1 SMP Wed Apr 15 19:29:46 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Samsung TS-H552U Burner
Memorex DVD-R media (burnt at 4x)
XBMC pre-9.10 r21333 (Compiled: Jul 2nd 2009)

Ok i have more screenshots but i just chose one for now. I have burnt off mkv files to dvd, and they are like 4.4GB, but they show up in xbmc as some random size. I thought it was a shitty burn, till i tried them in mplayer and they worked. an ls of the disc reveals:

So i dunno what the problem is. Came across 2 right now that say that. I prob could find more examples. Also, this happens on 2 machines, and the other one isn't a 64bit comp

I have this same issue with XBMC 64bit version installed on 9.04 64bit. I use K3B to burn all my discs. I use the default settings to burn the 4.4GB file onto DVD-/+R.
None of the discs gets recognized correctly in XBMC. I thought XBMC uses the same file browser as the OS. I guess this is not the case.
Those discs are correctly displayed in the main OS using Mplayer. Windows is able to view the discs as well.
