Hi Nukka,
Can't really speak for everyone, but can for myself.
I typically run the latest nightly builds, maybe updating once or twice a week. I have no problem though modifying the code to support the script to test it, though think obviously there will be a bigger following if it fits into the current Dharma methodology, if that's even possible.
When I used the script back in the Atlantis days, I was very happy to have it run trivia with a music bed for xx minutes (I changed the script because sometimes I wanted only a 1-5 minute trivia just to show it off, sometimes you just want to get to the movie faster). Then after the trivia, a separate "coming attractions" bumper, followed by a random pull of trailers (I gave up on apple's HD streaming ability so just had it picking random from my downloaded trailers folder which I try to keep up to date). After that, a "feature presentation" video and then the film.
I loved how it worked with the Aeon script that there was a "cinema" button I could push, instead of play, sort of a "play with HTE" option vs a basic play option which just started the film.
Those were the basics that I loved, if that could be back in a Dharma version I'd be a super happy camper. I can honestly say this is the script I miss the most in the new XBMC, I really used to love it when it worked. So thanks for any work you are doing to attempt to port it.
