It seems that you are experiencing the same problem.
You are getting something wrong anyway. It's not a bug in the Subtitles script (at least I'm pretty sure about this) but in the XBMC windows version.
In fact. If you use the script with xbmc 9.11 (no the latest version as this one is addons ready and doesn't work with 9.11) you can get it working...
Maybe that's a good solution for you until 10.5 is out and the problem is fixed.
