Hi,
I have a movie collection that has a local trailer stored for most films. This collection is stored on a password protected Samba share. If I scan this collection with XBMC and later export to separate NFO files, XBMC puts something like "smb://username:password@server/share/movie/movie-trailer.avi" into the XML trailer field and by that exposes my password to all other users. I cannot believe that this is desired behaviour? Or did I do something wrong?
Also, some linux users of the collection access it via NFS and not SMB. Shouldn't the trailer field contain a relative path ("movie-trailer.avi") for local trailers?
This problem seems to exist on all platforms: XBox, Win, Mac, Linux.
Thanks for your help,
Unbehagen
