Wow... this is couch potato perfection!!!

I don't thing there's one thing you could do right now to improve the skin (until XBMC adds features)... Take a vacation, you've earned it!

cheers, i'll take it easy for a few days. ;-)
i'll be around to help everyone out though and to see if there's anything that needs to be fixed.

i disabled the weather.plus plugin and back to standard, no freezes so far...

i hope that problem is solved...

thanx Ronie for help... cheers
Simplicity and Elegance = Pure Awesomeness

Disabling the weather.com plus plugin seems to have cured the crash upon startup.

I was wondering if at all there is any support for 16x10 monitors in regards to the rendering of skin images like fan-art, it is obvious for the video player just to add some black bars top and bottom but I don't know if it is as easy for the skin engine.

as far as i know a skin can only be designed for a fixed number of resolutions:
PAL, NTSC, PAL 16x9, NTSC 16x9, 720p and 1080i.

most of the currently available (newer) skins are 720p only.

Thanks for that ronie, I'll just have to choose fan-art which isn't chopping off the top of peoples head.

fanart should be at 1280x720 or 1920x1080 for the best result.

Hi there,

New skin is awesome but i have 2 small problems.

When i hit the info button watching ANY tv show i get a big white box where as the old version it was just a transparent part?

Image

Also in movie list i get the odd white box where the studio or something should be?

Image

Any ideas?

Cheers

Derek

very interesting...
could you fix me a Debug Log?
enable debuglogging, restart xbmc, reproduce the two problems and post the log to pastebin.com
