I tried something like this, however, upon resume the xpad remains loaded.
It's as though the rmmod xpad doesn't get executed for some reason.
Code:
#!/bin/bash
case "${1}" in
resume)
/usr/bin/logger -s ${1}
/sbin/rmmod xpad
/sbin/rmmod joydev
/sbin/rmmod uinput
/sbin/modprobe uinput
/sbin/modprobe joydev
/usr/bin/xboxdrv-stable --wid 0 -s -l 2 --dpad-as-button --deadzone 12000 --trigger-as-zaxis
/usr/bin/xbmc-send -a "XBMC.RestartApp()"
;;
esac
