I just check the bluez-patched deb online, it could have been a fault with it. I reuploaded it.

Code:
sudo -i
dpkg -r bluez-patched
wget http://flx.me/script/bluez-patched_4.54-1_i386.deb
dpkg -i bluez-patched_4.54-1_i386.deb
bluetoothd -nd

The "7. Edit skin Choices" option in the script doesn't seem to work when you have already installed a skin and want to go back to the script and install some more. I get the error:
cannot remove 'settings.conf': No such file or directory
./xbmscript.sh line 726: cd: skinupdate: No such file or directory
./xbmscript.sh line 727: ./skinupdate.sh No such file or directory

hi Dennis,

when i plug in my external usb harddrive xbmc dosn't detect it automaticly - is there any bug in die Ubuntu 9.04 Mini? But the xbmc Live Edition detects the disk.

Thanks Smile

Same Hardware Asrock ION 330.

I try it again tonight and report to you.

//Off-Topic: by the way is there a way to "safely remove" the drive in xbmc?
Thanks

For some reason the skins aren´t working today.

Which path do I have to set for ftp/smb sharing? I want to be able to upload/add skins and I want to be able to upload/add movies or music.

There was a error in the script, it was deleting the skinupdate folder when installing xbmc SVN, this has been resolved. Please download the latest version Smile

can I just update the script and run it again starting with 1. install xbmc and it will reinstall everything, or do I have to manually delete stuff first?

PS. thanks for the script, it is handy for a guy like me.

have you installed the xbmc svn option? In that case use the update system option to redownload the skin manager. Then choose edit skin options to choose the skins to download or update.

Alternatively you can do it manually by executing the following:
Code:
wget http://flx.me/script/skinupdate.zip
unzip skinupdate.zip
rm skinupdate.zip
cd skinupdate
chmod +x skinupdate.s
sudo ./skinupdate.sh

It seems to hang on inflating: skinupdate/skinupdate.sh

I got impatient and rebooted while it was in the middle of something last time
