can't run apt-get update, problem with keys?
#1
I had to reinstall xbmc live and when trying to run the update, i get the following message:

Quote:Reading package lists... Done
W: GPG error: http://ppa.launchpad.net jaunty Release: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 1DABDBB4CEC06767
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

I ran the following from the ppa to get the key:
Quote:sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 64234534

any ideas?

Edit: solved my own problem again. Googled it and found the following:

Quote:gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 1DABDBB4CEC06767 && gpg --export --armor 1DABDBB4CEC06767 | sudo apt-key add - && sudo aptitude update

works now.
