No, those first two URLs behave as I mentioned in my post:
http://<your_XBMC_IP>:<port> --> takes me to the default XBMC web interface, which has four buttons in the top right....Remote, Movies, TV Shows, Music....but does not show the XWMM interface
http://<your_XBMC_IP>:<port>/XWMM/index.html --> just says "file not found" in the browswer window.
have I done something wrong on the install (although not sure how I could have), and I don't know of any other settings to be adjusted. Also, I thought I might be able to uninstall/disable the "default" web interface, but that option is greyed out in XBMC.
No idea what I've done wrong...seems like such a straightforward setup.
Just to be sure...the port number, user ID and password are the values in XBMC services-->webserver section right?
Not sure if this is relevant, but I'm running XBMC on Windows 7.
