thank you very much for this great software!!!
but, i am on ubuntu karmic and after install xbmc (it's alpha release in karmic repository) on it, i can't find upnp share in network menu like in 9.04 release!
can you help me please?

it was removed.. we still share xbmc library over upnp. direct file sharing you can accomplish with other better tools.

Because it didn't work very well. UPnP in XBMC is designed for sharing libraries, not for sharing files.

There are plenty of other UPnP servers available should you wish to share files.

okok...i think upnp share worked very well in xbmc but i had found other upnp server...
