PAL 16:9 screen resolution missing in 9.11 alpha 1?
#1
Hi,

I just updated to XBMC 9.11 alpha 1 and I cannot find how to change my screen resolution to PAL 16:9. In Babylon there was an option for this resolution but I can't find it it Camelot, the closest I can find is 720x576 but this does not correct for the aspect ratio of my TV. Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks

I tried that and the videos look correct now but the GUI still looks wrong (fonts look stretched, text is truncated, etc).

Is there no way of forcing XBMC to use PAL 16x9?

I know technically that the 720x576 resolution is correct but it seemed like XBMC used to adjust the interface rendering if it knew it was dealing with an anamorphic widescreen TV.

We've ditched most of the old support for the SD resolutions, simply because most people are now on HD screens.

PM3.HD should look just fine though I should think?
