Hi there i am running Xbmc for quite a while now and i`ve been having alot of trouble lately with the latest alpha2 rls . It seems (i think) vd_pau cause my movies to drop frames while running a 1080i and 720p mkv file. Also while running movies i have a huge lag on spdif sound . I have tried with other hd formats and still the same (sd formats are ok) . If i change it to software it get`s worst for 1080i but not for 720p formats . Here are my specs

running:

Mythbuntu 9.10 (with 2.6.31-14-generic kernel all updates)
l`ve got the latest nvidia 190 installed
Motherboard M3N78-VM (Geforce 8200)
1 Gig of ram
display on a FullHD Sharp Aquos


So what am i doing wrong here

Could you try playing the file locally rather than across the network.
