Can't add RAID 5 Array as Video Source in XBMC
#1
Hi Guys...
i am using Ubuntu 9.10 and XBMC 9.11. R26018 and have problems addin' my RAID 5 Array as a Video Source.
It won't show up in my list of sources. The external USB Drive is shown but thats it.

Do i have to configure something? What logs or infos do you need?

The RAID 5 is mounted on startup by FSTAB...

Please please help Sad

Tried just browsing to where it's mounted?

Probably can't browse it since we don't have a "File System" node that a points at /, yet. You should be able to type the mount point in manually though.

Hi
althekiller you were right...
I just add manually the mount point. That did the job.

But could you just describe me, why the mountpoint dowsn't show up?
is there a way to let xbmc know where to find my array device?

We currently only show non-"system internal" (in devicekit-disks/udisks terms) volumes as we haven't decided on a good mechanism for deciding which internal volumes to actually mount yet. So for now, it's /etc/fstab and a manual entry.
