I use my Airport Express to steam music to my amp on the other side of the room.
I also stream audio from movies without a problem, just delay audio 2sec and it plays in sync.
I have a optical cable from the APX to my amp.
According to Airfoils support page, it is capable of sending DTS sound:

I've change settings in XBMC to digital audio and both AC3 and DTS box are checked, and the downmix multichannel to stereo box is unchecked..

Still not getting DTS or AC3 sound to my amp..(Get it if I connect iMac directly to amp though)

What am I doing wrong?
