So trying to narrow it down a bit it appears that:
29242 - works
29328 - has the jumpy pixelation issue.
From the timeline there are many changes that you (and others) did between that large gap of 90 commits So I'm not really sure on what to guess on this time. The same issues happens when using VLC using hardware acceleration. I tried to test on ffplay but I cont find the switch to enable DXVA with it. So since this seems to happen right when you started using the new ffmpeg(Changeset [29327])...would that be the cause here? As usual just a really broad guess.
This does only happen with DXVA2 enabled. Software rendering is fine.
