Hi all
Just thought I would add my experiences
I have just put together a Mini-Itx unit using a Zotag ION ITX-A
I bought the bundle here
http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/xbmc-ion/
I originally installed 9.11 live as suggested in the article. But then wanted to experiment with latest nightly releases etc.
So I installed minimal ubuntu karmic and used this script.
I have say it works brilliantly, and very stable too.
While not a complete novice, my linux skills are very sketchy at best.
This is great.
I wonder if I may be so bold however, as to add a suggestion (maybe it is already there of course and I just don't know how to invoke it from the script menu). But it would be nice to add an option to install Samba and set up a basic share to the \home\xbmc folder.
Easy enough to do with "apt-get install samba" of course. But it would just add that little extra touch.
Many thanks for a great script.
Pete
