Sorry I wasn't able to do a more thorough search, but I don't even know how to describe this to search for it. All of a sudden, in showcase view, theres a black cover image with [..] for a title. As one would expect, just like in a command prompt, it takes me up one directory. It wasn't there before, but now it is. Does this make any sense to anybody?

Still no clue how to fix this. I see a few people have looked at the thread, but none responded. Has nobody ever seen this before? It seems like something simple, like a setting. But I've been through all of the settings and can't find anything that would do this. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Disable 'Show Parent folder items' in Appearance settings.

Well, I feel pretty stupid. I'd toggled the setting before but never seen a difference, so I ruled that one out. Thanks for entertaining my stupid question!
