I have purchased a MCE generic remote from here and it worked out of the box with no problems
i want to re-map a couple of buttons, but that is another issue!
I am looking at moving my XBMC machine to further away from the TV area - it's starting to make a lot of disk noise - but wanted to keep access to it via keyboard if needed to re-login and start xbmc if i have to reboot the PC or we have a power outage etc... So i figured a wireless option naturally, until i brought the MCE remote, then i started to think - maybe i could get an IR keyboard and use just one receiver?? googled about and found this which is perfect for what i want... what does everyone else think? Will it just work "out of the box"? and could i use the same IR receiver as the MCE remote?
