Total noob time here, and I must admit I'm asking without trying it yet (I'm scared I'll screw my system up) but how do you get to the settings, if you have removed it from the main menu?

To clarify - you can tell Alaska (and most skins for that matter) what you want displayed on the main menu. I generally have only Movies, Music, TV Shows, Shutdown and Settings. You can remove settings, but what if you want it back?

I'll go and sit in the corner...

Press 's' to bring up the Shutdown menu and it's an option on there.

If you're using a remote, hash (#) when at the main menu also works.

I personally have my remote set up so that the power button brings up the shutdown menu.
