does anyone know if there's an issue with daylight saving? I'm in the EST time zone and the box is always off an hr. I tried resetting the zone but it didn't fix the time...

Have you tried enabling internet sync?

+1 on this

I have internet sync enabled but am also having this issue.
I reset my router which appeared to correct the problem, but now its back to being exactly an hour out.

What revision are you running? Debug log?

Thanks for your reply Dan Dare!
I'm running T3CH XBMC 2010-04-27 SVN rev29407

here's my debug log
http://pastebin.com/13jBw9V4

I tried the tutorial you posted from Afterdawn but it seems I cannot get into the MS Dash anymore - I get the red & green flashing light and the black screen with green text in many languages.

I did check on the Evox dash screen & under system/settings the clock settings are as follows:

Jump to MS Dash: No
Jump if no link: Yes
24 hour: No
Swapdate: No
SNTP server: 207.46.130.100

My XBMC time sync server is time.nist.gov

Any advice appreciated.

I use pool.ntp.org, with daylight savings and timezone GMT+00 BST and it works fine for me (Settings > Appearance > International)... Did you go through all timezones available?

Thumbs Up
I changed both my XBMC time sync server & the clock setting in the EVOX dash to be pool.ntp.org

left my timezone at 'GMT-05 EST' cos that where I'm at & its still an hour 'slow'

here's my debug log if thats any help
http://pastebin.com/AeRZSUa0

in the meantime I have changed my time zone to GMT-04 AMT (somewhere over the Atlantic!) and thats got the correct time showing on the screen!

Thanks for your help.
