Any way to add Xlink Kai back to XBMC for Xbox?
#1
The only thing I don't like about my XBMC machine is that I can't play games online on it. I like the idea of Xlink Kai, but I don't like how I have to connect to a match with my PC. Why was Xlink Kai originally taken out of XBMC? Was it because other versions of XBMC were being developed? I would really like to play Halo 2 online again without having to manually join a game using my PC.

There were some bugs in XBMC's X-Link Kai client. No one could be bothered to fix them, so all support was dropped and the client removed.

The easy way to get what you're after is to just install a build of XBMC older then r14099, which is when Kai support was removed. Note that you can have multiple copies of XBMC on your Xbox if you like.

as bloke said , just install the old build with kai as an app and set the home window to kai so when it boots up it goes right into it.
