ive been trying to find the correct places so i can listen to streaming audio from a cuple of stations. i tried making the text file and pasting the address into it but it doesnt work on two stations, (works on others)
can anyone here help?

also sites that i do get to work take ages to cache (about 30 seconds). is there a tag i can add in the text file to try and get this time down to a reasonable amount for instance "radio paradise" takes this long.

For the second station try this as the stream location:
http://www1.streaming.net.nz/meta/tvworks-rock.asx

As you can ses the extension ends in .asx which is a steaming media format. The location you were trying was a link to the page that has the player embedded (.asp).
The first station is a bit more complicated as it uses some weird javascript to forward on to the correct station. Often radio stations hide and in some cases stop the stream from working unless you are directly on their website so they can display adverts.

thanks for that. i managed to get them to work. i found a site which listed the raw stream addresses which was great!

only problem is that they take over a minute to load/cache.
how can i speed this up?
