I ftp to my xbox via crossover cable and if I set xbmc to use a static IP it freezes every time it boots right away. If I set it to use dhcp it doesnt get an address. Right now the only way I can ftp to my xbox is via my bios which is a pain every time I went to send files back and forth. Thanks for any help! Here is my log file:

Looks a bit odd that your Project Mayhem III\language\English\strings.xml seems to be corrupted... Maybe upload a new XBMC in a separate folder (fresh install), either a T3CH or SSHCS build and try again...

PMIII doesn't have it's own strings file, at least, it hasn't had one for the last couple of years or so. It's usual for XBMC to report it missing.

Even so, installing to a separate folder sounds like a good idea.
