Hey forum members, I'm an XBMC noob, so please bear with me,

I've got Aeon Showmix 2.5, and I made sure I installed the fonts pack inside the folder.

The main menu shows up with a different font, and I can't seem to get it to its default font.

Am I missing something ??

You don't install the fonts, you simply put them in the skins font folder.

Yeah sorry thats what I meant, I copied the folder into the Aeon Showmix folder

And it still stays the same ....

My bad, my bad.

I found out that I had a few fonts missing, downloading the latest fonts set from the Show Mix Project site.

Case closed......

I am having the same problem and I am sure that I have all the fonts. I put the fonts folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\XBMC\skin\Showmix\
I am using Windows 7 64bit and XBMC r28275

any suggestions or ideas?

Alright for some reason there are a few fonts missing from all of the downloads that I could find so I googled the font names and was able to find them and download them so now everything looks good except for the spacing of the menu on the home screen but oh well.

Ditto. For those who were unaware, there is a separate site for Showmix. Unfortunate IMO because the forum there is nowhere near as active as the XBMC forums...

Ok, but in live version? How I download the fonts? Is there a git link or a complete git link for download showmix with the fonts?

Hi. I founded how to install showmix in command line.
Exit XBMC : Ctrl+ALT+F1
Install git:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install git-core

go to the skin directory:
cd ~/.xbmc/skin

install Show Mix:
git clone git://github.com/andyblack/aeon.git "Show Mix"

go into directory:
cd "Show Mix"

Install zip and wget:
sudo install zip
sudo install wget

I hope this gude will be useful.
Download fonts:
wget http://showmix.azido.de/request.php?3

Unzip:
unzip requestphp?3

Restart:
sudo reboot
