The grooveshark team have just updated their API to a new version which has introduced some changes. I'm working on getting up to speed. Until then, please be patient.

I looked at the updates page on the script's site and I think you only have to update three files:

resources/lib/GrooveLib.py
resources/lib/GrooveAPI.py
resources/lib/gw/__init__.py

Maybe someone can confirm?

You can just pull everything from my svn repo. Have a look at the first post in this thread.

I got the three updated files from:

I tried it on the XBOX and early indications were good. However each time I had to reboot after a certain time. One time it just froze on me and another time the screen went completely black.

Guess it's just not compatible with the ol' XBOX I'd post a debug log only I can't be sure when things will go wrong or what causes it.

Hi there! firstly, thanks for your brilliant script! I love the concept! I've only just jailbroken my atv and i'm a bit of a noob when it comes to it but I've managed to install the script from the zip file but i'm getting the "cannot create new net session" error on start up. Now, I've done what i thought was right but taking your files from your svn but i'm still getting the error so i guess i've gone wrong. I dont suppose you could tell me exactly what i need to do to get it working. I'm pretty familiar with terminal commands and ssh'ing into apple devices so dont worry about that!

Very easy on ATV2
simply install this http://code.google.com/p/grooveshark-for...loads/list via add on in XBMC after you put it in a directory like REPO which is what I do

Then go to the SVN mentioned above and replace the 3 files exactly where Solver telld you too in the correct directory via Winscp under Addons

Works great on ATV2 XBMC 10.09, thanks

hey, thanks for the fast reply! I'm on an ATV2 running xbmc darwin 11.0.0 and still having no luck! where abouts is this addon folder located on the atv2? im at applications>XBMC.frappliance>XBMCData>XBMCHome>Addons and can't see the grooveshark folder to replace the files with the ones from the svn.

thanks again, replaced the files mentioned and it still won't work. Guess its my version of XBMC maybe? I'll try downgrading to 10.09 and see how it fairs. How is 10.09 for streaming 720p films and such?

Before you go to more trouble and possible problems downgrading why not post a log?
