ok Well i put an ubuntu 64bit partion on my mac mini in hopes of getting the xbox dvd remote to work perfectly with xbmc, and better hardware acceleration with the nvidia 9400 but had no idea how complicated it was. i visited the wiki for xbox dvd remote and dongle and put the hard ware config files in the lirc derectory and blacklisted xbox as the website said. I know so little about lirc though that i dont even know if its running, or if its not how to start it. i looked in the xbmc keymap derectory and didnt see any xbox dvd remote xml file. I just saw xbox gamepad and apple remote and a keymap.xml. Any ways is their anybody who has set this remote up with 64bit ubuntu 10.04 and wants to share how they did it in a newbie kind of way?
