Now that maverick is officially out, I thought I'd try an install on top of that.
Out of the box, it appears ethernet, wireless work perfectly and sound seems to be there (I think - I am plugged into a monitor via VGA right now, no HDMI handy).
I am trying to install XBMC and hitting a wall though - there is still no maverick ppa so I add the tram-xbmc-svn repo, changed the sources list to lucid instead of maverick, but a sudo install xbmc gets me errors about missing xbmc-data and xbmc-skin-confluence dependencies and I'm kinda out of my linux depth here!!
(I was prompted to update nvidia drivers to 260.19.06 which I did, and once I installed lirc my no brand mce remote works fine too according to IRW)
Any ideas on installing XBMC svn (or B2) on top of the official Maverick anyone??
