XBMC Helper

Could the developers please move the plex helper into the XBMC folder instead of within the application, it plays total havoc when trying to upgrade XBMC.

Someone suggested I put it into trac, I have no idea what that is or how to do it.

Cheers

Not sure what you're getting at. XBMCHelper is packaged within XBMC.app just like the rest of XBMC is?
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

XBMC has nothing to do with plex helper, it uses XBMCHelper.

Sorry I meant XBMC helper. I think it was meastro? Or whoever developed the remote capabilities anyway who said they meant to put xbmchelper into the home folder and not the app. The problem arises when one downloads a new version of XBMC, the helper is still used from the previous running xbmc.
