Just uninstall your current addons and manually re-install with the fixed addons. For the YouTube addon, it's advised to delete the cookie "yt-cookiejar.txt" located in the following folder: xbmc/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.youtube. For windows user's, you'll find the xbmc folder in C:\Users\UserAccount\AppData\Roaming.Thank you for these! They did more than fix login for me. Before these versions I couldn't play video in either add-on (login was working fine for me in YouTube, but videos wouldn't play). Reinstalling didn't help, I'd messed with librtmp and various other things suggested in threads with similar error logs to mine, and these fixed versions were what ultimately fixed things for me. Thanks again!

i'm using frodo on ubuntu, and for the last month or so a lot of videos do not play! this is very frustrating, as more do not play than do play...
the "loading" icon pops up and then just disappears and sometimes i get a dialogue box which states that one or more items failed to play, check the log.
See above, as this is exactly the behavior I was seeing as well, using Frodo on Ubuntu 12.0.4 LTS. sogopot's fixed versions are working great for me.
