Nope, and seriously, the way to get it to go faster is to ask in the trac.

ETA: Any progress will be seen in the trac. I probably wont even write it here if it is fixed.

Soo, i honestly hadn't expected i had to do this to you pike.. but.

http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add..._debug_log

You could try manually removing the login_info and SID from your .xbmc/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.youtube/settings.xml first, and then log in again.
full clean Debug Log, does this really make a difference Huh

Well, either you didn't enable debugging in the YouTube plugin. Or else something is seriously FUBAR, because there is no debug from the plugin in your log.

I had forgotten about your addon's debug mode, I don't think I've disabled it manually since last time, but nevertheless it was disabled, on this log it's enabled.

It is returning a cached result. But the cached result is not what you want.

So either wait for the cache to empty(Takes one day), or delete the cache and restart xbmc.

rm ~/.xbmc/userdata/Database/commoncache.db
and restart xbmc.

Of course it shouldn't cache on error at all, i will look into it.

ETA: Fixed wrong information
Hi there, I am trying to map this plugin to a button on my remote. How would I do this?

Currently I'm using a method that does not launch the program properly. I want to have it launch normally or to my favorites from something like this:

Code:
<obc25>XBMC.ActivateWindow(plugin://youtube)</obc25>

I'm away from my computer currently, so I can't get the actual command I'm launching... however it does not work. What is the proper way to launch youtube plugin from keymap?
Use mythicalLibrarian to make a library out of your MythTV files. Leave the recording to MythTV and use XBMC as your library.

Well, the root folder would be
Code:
<obc25>XBMC.ActivateWindow(plugin://plugin.video.youtube.beta/)</obc25>

If it isn't like that, then i don't know.
Hi, I'm running Openelec (XBMC 10.1) on a little nettop. I'm having trouble logging in and using the youtube plugin. The version I see in the addon-repository is only 2.1.3 but I see a lot of people talking about 2.8.0. Where can I get that version?
same as above on win7...

anyway i thought youtube would update automatically?
2.1.3 is the latest release for Dharma(XBMC 10.1)

2.8.0 is the beta of the upcomming "YouTube 3" version. It is only released for Eden-pre.

I see. Thanks.

I don't see any Eden-pre Live builds or linux builds for that matter on the XBMC download page. Is there somewhere else the pre builds are hosted that I'm not seeing?

If not I'm guessing my best bet is to wait for Eden to be officially released and the Live build or Openelec to update with it.
I believe there is an ubuntu repository you can add to get nightly builds, but i don't remember the name.

I just compile it from source.
