I’ve been using svn 31579 for a long time. It’s the last build where I don’t get stuttering while browsing and videos stuttering at thr beggining of playback. Any clue as to what the culprit could be? I've tried nightly builds, the recent Dharma Beta and even a fresh install. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

By "browsing" do you mean browsing through the library, and is the stuttering in the movement of menus or artwork? If so this sounds like a video driver issue rather than an XBMC problem. I'm using XBMC (Confluence) on a humble Revo 3610 and everything is smooth. It might be worth popping a debug log on pastebin.com in case there's anything obvious in it.
