Hey guys

Ok, i'm running XBMCLive 9.11 on an acer aspire revo.

I'm trying to setup up emulators, and it let me copy over the launcher fine. when i go to copy roms (using filezilla), it says i don't have permission to write to that DIR.

the dir i'm trying to copy to is

/home/xbmc/roms/snes

the error i am getting from filezilla is "open for write: persmission denied.

I'm following the guide threads on here to the letter, but this has me stumped. I've read about enabling root access in some searches that I did,but I can't seem to get that to work either.

any suggestions?
