Apologies, should have made it clear...I was adding it as a submenu underneath TV Shows.
stoli Wrote:Last try - add your documentaries to thetvdb.com, name your files correctly and scrape and skip the whole nfo idea. That's the best of all worlds. You shows will be where they should be and anyone else that adds the shows to their library will benefit by your contribution to thetvdb.com
Anything more on this, let's take it to your original thread: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=90850
Thanks for your continued help, and sorry for going so off-topic. However, you've made me reevaluate my approach and I've come up with an alternative that doesn't ruin my sources and is stupidly simple. I'm going to post it back in my original thread. But thanks for humouring me, at least. It's appreciated.
As for the adding to tvdb, it wasn't really practical for everything I have in that folder, some things are recordings of CNN news broadcasts and similar.
Back on topic though of this amazing skin, 2 things I feel I should give feedback on having used it for a while now, and in return for all the help you've given me. Firstly, adding a new rule using the smart-playlist editor is difficult in it's current colour scheme. The white text blends into the metallic background too easily, especially at 6'+ viewing distance on a TV. Also, when the highlight moves over the rules section it doesn't appear. The rules in the screenshot below are highlight as an example. The second picture shows the outcome of pressing down once, and the highlight is clearly visible.

This difficulty to read the white text carries across in the rule editor, where at a distance the text disappears back into the background again.

Using the addon "TV-Shows Next Aired" from the Passion repo together with the 16x9 skin view seems to cut some of the text off from the newly included information. I don't know how much you can do about that, I just thought I would make you aware as it's the least I can do after your help. I would get a pic of this too, but it seems my Windows testbed compilation of XBMC's git doesn't seem to have the urllib module needed to run the addon and taking a screenshot from my Ubuntu machine will be a bit hard without a keyboard
Seriously, thanks for such a great skin, and for all your assistance whilst I was being an idiot and making life hard for everyone
