I have set up a HTPC with an ASUS ION motherboard. XBMC is running great, and I am very happy with it. Here is my issue: I am trying to use rsync to copy my television media file from my NAS to a local hard drive. I have everything working with the exception of "$#*! My Dad Says".

How can I set up a filter in rsync that will handle the $ in the file name?

Anyone got any ideas?
