I had some issues with suspend working with the r8169 kernel module that the NIC on this board uses. If you look at step 1 I put in post #3 in this thread you can see a possible way to workaround it (SUSPEND_MODULES).
I actually switched to use the r8168 module downloaded from the realtek website instead which also solved those issues for me.
